How does matching work?

Your major, school, skills and what you say you're open to (see your profile) are read against every listing. The fit on a card — Strong fit, Good fit, Some overlap, A stretch — is that reading, and only you see it.

Who can see my resume?

Only you. It's kept in a private store, and no other account — student, employer or us — can open it through Way In.

How do I message someone?

From their profile, an opportunity, or a project — look for a Message button. Every conversation stays tied to how you met; there's no cold-DM list to browse.

I posted something by mistake.

Open it from Opportunities or Projects — as the owner you'll see Edit and Delete controls right on the card.

How do I report something or block someone?

In the iPhone app, open the ⋯ menu on a post, listing or conversation and choose Report or Block. Blocking hides that person's posts or closes the thread on your phone straight away. Anywhere else, email us what you saw — we review every report within 24 hours.

What happens when I swipe right in Discover?

It saves the role — it doesn't apply. Everything you save is under Saved, with an Apply button on each.

What does Apply do in the iPhone app?

It opens the employer's own application form inside the app. What you type goes to the employer, not to us. When you close it, the app asks whether you applied so it can keep track for you.

I didn't get the confirmation email.

Check your spam folder, then use "Send it again" on the Check your email screen. Opening the link confirms your email and signs you in.

I forgot my password.

Choose "Forgot your password?" when you sign in, on the website or in the app, and we'll email you a link to set a new one.

How do I delete my account?

On the website, from Settings. In the iPhone app, tap the settings button at the top of Profile, then Delete account. It deletes your profile, resume, record, posts, messages and saved roles for good.
