What you'd do
- Perform routine and non-routine analyses on analytical equipment such as Gas Chromatography (GC), titrations, and spectrometry.
- Document, communicate, and archive results using appropriate IT software and electronic tools (such as Chromatography Data Systems (OpenLab).
- Understand and execute procedures, policies, and work processes such as Environmental Health &Safety, Operating Discipline Management Systems (ODMS), quality procedures, and AWP (Analytical Work Process).
- Perform basic calibration and maintenance of analytical systems.
- Monitor analytical systems.
- This position does not offer relocation assistance.
What they want
- A minimum of an associate's degree in a science discipline or related (at least 20 hours in chemistry) is required. 3+ years of relevant military experience also accepted.
- Proficient in Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Able to work in an empowered team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work a 12 hour rotation shift. This is a 12 hour rotating shift position that will require some additional overtime to cover plant needs and lab team vacations/absences.
- Able to work weekends and holidays.
- No routine travel.

- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
