What you'd do
- Participate in the VAVE program across Aldevron/IDT to drive total cost improvement, engaging cross-functional teams including R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance.
- Assisting cross-functional Daily Management for VAVE projects, ensuring consistent execution and tracking of cost-saving initiatives.
- Assisting internal and supplier VAVE Kaizens to identify cost-saving opportunities, eliminate waste, and implement Should-Cost models through product teardowns and competitive benchmarking.
- Collaborate with Product Planning to prioritize high-impact projects and allocate resources effectively, ensuring alignment with business unit strategies.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in in Supply Chain, Business, Operation Management, Engineering or Finance
- Basic understanding of statistics and finance, experience with Microsoft tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Project Management, Supplier Management, Manufacturing and New Product Commercialization Experience
- Chemical/or pharmaceutical experience preferred
