As a Quality Assurance Engineering Intern, you’ll work within the Global Merchandising organization to help ensure Lowe’s private brand products meet the highest standards before they reach our customers. You’ll gain hands-on experience in our QA Test Lab—supporting engineers and lab technicians with product testing, results analysis, and process documentation. From evaluating product durability and safety to supporting cross-functional reviews with Merchandising and Compliance teams, you’ll contribute to work that directly impacts product quality and customer trust.
What you'd do
- Assist in the setup, execution, and documentation of product performance and durability tests in Lowe’s QA Test Lab.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to analyze results and identify defects or failure points.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing lab processes, reporting tools, and quality protocols.
- Learn how test results support merchant decisions, customer satisfaction, and brand confidence.
- Observe how QA collaborates with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Sourcing, Compliance, and Product Development.
- Gain familiarity with national and industry standards for product testing (e.g., UL, ASTM, ANSI).
What they want
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
