The internship position is an opportunity for an Engineering student to gain real world and hands on experience in a manufacturing environment, while benefiting STS Aerospace. The purpose of this internship is to develop a standardized template and produce operator-friendly visual work instructions for equipment used in the production of aerospace products.

What you'd do
Collaboratively works with engineering team members to complete technical tasks associated with Product Configuration, New Product Development, Product Design, Manufacturing, and Test Engineering functions.
Utilizes a combination of measurement techniques, data collection, analysis, critical thinking, and software skills to provide insight and engineering solutions.
Familiar with engineering analysis, calculations, and computational tools. Ability to understand engineering theory and develop analysis tools.
May work with Operational team members to address test and manufacturing processes, equipment, operator safety, tooling, procedures, and work instructions.
Reviews and checks engineering calculations, design models, drawings, and design documents for technical content, errors, notes, accuracy, functionality, and completion.
Supports continuous improvement initiatives and completion of implementation activities.
Must be coachable, goal orientated, self-starter, and excel independently or in a collaborative environment.
Consistently, regularly, and predictably at work and on time.

Strong academic / analytical modeling.
