Mining Engineer Co-Op/Intern - Summer 2027
Where will you work: Four Corners Facility at 11200 R 37 South. Bradley, FL and/or South Fort Meade Facility at 5880 Manley Road. Fort Meade, FL 33841.
What you'd do
- Assignments will involve learning all aspects of working at a site including Mine Planning, Operations Optimization, Quality Control, Mapping and more.
- Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors.
- Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.
- Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.
What they want
- Junior level or above by May 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Mining Engineering.
- 2.75 GPA or higher
- Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment.
- 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.
- Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
- Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship
- Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.
- Basic computer skills are required
