As a MuleSoft Integration intern, you will get real time exposure to integration with Salesforce and other Enterprise applications using MuleSoft. You will report to the Engineering Delivery Manager.
An internship with American Family Insurance is a great opportunity to build your skillset and explore your career interests. Our summer student internship is a 10 to 14 week program that starts in mid to late May and ends in August.
During your internship, you'll work on impactful projects that make a difference at our company, with our customers, and in our communities.
What you'd do
- Develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture and structure to support work initiatives.
- Open to and supports new ideas, systems and procedures. Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations.
- Supports and plans work on small projects with direction from management.
- May assume the duties normally performed in the department, alongside professionals who perform these roles.
- Presents project results to management and/or department personnel.
- Performs analytical work within the assigned functional area.
- Other duties as assigned.

- This experience is held in person at our Madison, WI Headquarters or one of our AmFam core locations to help you connect with our mission, meet key team members and build relationships that support your growth.

What they want
- You will bring strong coding experience with Java or C. MuleSoft or Salesforce experience a plus but not required.
- Computer Science, or related majors, strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
- Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program.
