What you'd do
- Assist in functional hardware validation and debug activities for platforms utilizing high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, CXL, and Ethernet
- Support system bring-up tasks by running test cases, collecting data, and documenting results under the guidance of senior engineers
- Write and execute automation scripts (Python or similar) to streamline silicon testing and validation workflows
- Operate standard lab equipment — including logic analyzers and oscilloscopes — to assist with signal integrity analysis and system debugging
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, firmware, and validation) to investigate and reproduce hardware or protocol-level issues, and contribute to root-cause analysis
What they want
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with an expected graduation date of Fall 2027 – Summer 2028
- Basic understanding of digital logic, computer architecture, or hardware design principles gained through coursework or personal projects
- Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (Python, C, or similar) for writing test scripts or automating tasks
- Ability to work in a hands-on lab environment and a willingness to learn how to use standard lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to document findings clearly and work effectively within a team
