The Coordinator, Communications will handle administrative duties and assist in supporting the series publicity team on day-to-day activities, as well as supporting the SVP of Communications for the Universal Studio Group division.
What you'd do
- Function as administrative liaison to departmental staff, external vendors, and consultants
- Answer telephones and perform administrative duties, such as calendar scheduling, booking travel, drafting itineraries, processing invoices, preparing expense reports, reconciling P-cards, among others
- Maintain/update press contact database and additional internal lists
- Prepare internal and external distributions and correspondence
- Maintain/update our press site, Media Village
- Help with the onboarding process for any new members of the Communications team
- Assist with talent relations needs including booking travel, booking hair/make-up, drafting itineraries, internal and external gifting, among others
- Maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
- Maintain series team budget tracker
- Assist publicists with tracking press coverage and maintaining show press reports
What they want
- 1+ years of public relations experience, including internships
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree
- Positive attitude with a passion and desire to learn entertainment publicity
- Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects while remaining cool under pressure
- Detail-oriented
