The Role:
Our site in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Product Design Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be fulltime, 6 months in duration.
As a Product Design Intern, you will work closely with a Senior Product Engineer and collaborate with other engineers within the Advanced Purity Solutions Division of Entegris.
During this Co-Op, you will focus on the validation and qualification of new injection molded components for our FOUP product line. This Co-Op requires a mixture of simulation, product design abilities, and project management skills.
What you'd do
- Participate as a member of a product team developing Entegris' next generation products
- Make small changes to CAD modelsPerform engineering analysis
- Construct pre-production samples for empirical validation
- Recommend product performance and qualification test parameters
- Document validation results and interpret, document, report, and present interim and final engineering findings
- Knowledge of mechanics of materials and basic fluid mechanics
- 3D CAD design (SolidWorks or Pro-Engineer preferred)
- Experience with and/or knowledge of statistics is a plus
- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
