Internship Overview/Summary:
The purpose of this internship is to give a college student an opportunity to work with a team of data and analytics engineers at FNB. They would learn the basics of SQL, ETL, SSIS, Data Consumption and Support, SDLC, Data Governance and Data Architecture.
As a Data and Analytics Intern you have an opportunity to participate in real world scenarios with data.
What you'd do
- Shadow Data and Analytics Engineers and their duties and projects.
- Attend EDMG meetings such as code reviews, standardization, data governance, etc.
- Analyze data.
- Create Spotfire visualizations.
- Utilize data virtualization tools.
- Write SQL scripts and queries.
- Participate and attend FNB related events/trainings that are scheduled for all Summer Interns
- Gain hands-on experience working for a dynamic and innovative organization while learning about the financial services industry
- Work directly with assigned business leaders and professionals on various projects and assignments
