The Role:
Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
The manufacturing engineer Co-Op will perform projects to improve manufacturing efficiency. They will work with the manufacturing engineering team to qualify improved processes for production.
What you'd do
- Support manufacturing continuous improvement projects.
- Qualify improved processes using statistical methods.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and implement solutions.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn continuous improvement concepts (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Data analysis skills
- Bachelor or Master student graduating 2028 or 2029
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
- Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
