Mach Industries is seeking a Production Coordinator to help translate production plans into daily factory execution. This role coordinates work order priorities, material readiness, and hardware movement to keep production teams aligned and ensure key milestones are met.
Working closely with Production, Supply Chain, Inventory, Engineering, and Quality, the Production Coordinator identifies constraints, tracks progress, and follows through on issues affecting delivery. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with technicians, stays organized as priorities change, and takes a hands-on approach to keeping the factory moving.
What you'd do
- Coordinate daily and weekly production priorities with vehicle program leaders, supervisors, and department leads to support schedule execution and delivery milestones.
- Track work orders and hardware through manufacturing, inspection, and final integration, maintaining accurate status in production systems and trackers.
- Review upcoming work for material, documentation, and resource readiness; identify constraints early and coordinate resolution with cross-functional partners.
- Partner with Inventory and Supply Chain to coordinate kitting, lineside replenishment, material transfers, and shortage recovery while maintaining part, revision, and configuration accuracy.
- Communicate production progress, priority changes, and delivery risks across departments and shifts, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through on recovery actions.
- Support work order readiness and closure by verifying required transactions and documentation are complete.
- Improve material flow and coordination processes to reduce delays and support new programs, configuration changes, and increasing production volume.
- Provide hands-on factory and material handling support as needed while following safety, quality, traceability, and inventory control requirements.
What they want
- At least two years of experience in production coordination, production control, material planning, inventory operations, or a related manufacturing role.
- Experience tracking work orders, material availability, and production priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing requests in a changing environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, department leaders, and cross-functional partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and experience using an ERP, MRP, or MES.
- Strong attention to detail when working with part numbers, revisions, quantities, and production records.
- Willingness to work directly on the production floor and provide hands-on support when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
