What you'd do
- Use caution and support systems to assure safety event free facilities
- Observe, respond and report any instance of equipment non-conformity, or significant threat of resulting non-conforming product
- Respond to any emergency or potential emergency following established procedures
- Security diligence, including maintaining control of key cards, preventing unauthorized entry to the companies facilities by non-employees, and proper maintenance / security of company equipment and information
- Pause activities and notify Safety lead in any facility regarding instances of potentially unsafe work environment or employee practices
- Initiate action to prevent occurrences of any non-conformity of product or quality systems.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
- Suggest actions for continual improvement to products, processes, or systems and verify the implementation of solutions
- Assist superiors in any day to day activity
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop
What they want
- High School Diploma, required
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Engineering or other related field
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision.
- Able to work with basic Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
