What you'd do
- Develop, debug, and test embedded firmware for microcontroller-based products.
- Participate in requirements definition and design discussions for new firmware features and product updates.
- Implement and maintain device drivers, communication stacks (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, BLE as applicable), and peripheral interfacing.
- Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal architectures as required by product designs.
- Support hardware bring-up and verification by using tools such as debuggers (JTAG/SWD), logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Design tools to measure and analyze existing and new products.
- Participate in code reviews, version control workflows, and continuous integration/build processes.
- Document firmware design, test procedures, release notes, and standard operating procedures.
- Utilize tools such as functional block diagrams, flow diagrams, state-diagrams, and others as required in product development.
- Work with a team to create well-rounded solutions.

- The expected Base Hourly Range: $25-$26/hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
