What you'd do
- Perform molecular biology assays for detecting genetic variants
- Execute experiments for Next Generation Sequencing workflows
- Maintain detailed and organized experiment write-ups

- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program or graduate program in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science or Biotechnology
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures
- Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
- Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision
- Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
About LabCorp
The San Francisco Research & Development team enables the development of new tests and new launches for germline genetic testing product lines. This role is a laboratory position to develop and optimize molecular biology assays focusing on accuracy, reproducibility, and scalability. About the Program: As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background.
