Repsol is seeking an engineering student to intern with the Maintenance Engineering Team during the summer of 2027.

- Support the development of a program that combines the technical requirements for integrity inspection and maintenance for each system, piece of equipment or element, and the activities necessary to comply with those requirements.
- Participate and support risk identification and management activities (Hazid/Hazop) with the aim of ensuring production process safety and minimizing exposure of people, installations and the environment, before, during and after the conclusion of operations.
- Ensure the application of engineering, construction and Safety and Environment standards and regulations during the design phase, ensuring the application of lessons learned, best practices and key indicators by means of the knowledge management technologies available.
- Investigate, review and implement new technologies and standards in order to improve the availability and reliability of process equipment. Identify and consider any relevant changes in technology and standards.
- Compile and keep the performance, procedures, control and work instructions standards for maintenance and integrity up to date, in order to ensure compliance with maintenance and integrity policies.

- Undergrad (or higher) Mechanical engineering degree in process, or related discipline.
- Students with an expected graduation 2028-2029 are encouraged to apply (juniors or sophomores). May 2027 graduates may only be considered if enrolled in a post-graduate program.
- Must have cumulative and major GPA of 3.3 or higher, to be confirmed with transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable)
- Must be available for a continuous 12-week period for the duration of the 2027 summer intern program, starting May 17th and ending on August 6th.
