Keene State College invites applications for an Assistant Clinical Professor faculty position in the Safety and Construction Sciences Department in the School of Applied Sciences and Technology beginning January or August 2027. This is a full-time position, based on-site in Keene, NH. We seek faculty who can create an inclusive, student-centered learning environment, integrate real-world applications into their teaching, and contribute to curriculum development that reflects evolving industry practices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching and service, actively engaging students through project-based learning, internships, and professional development opportunities. We value candidates with industry experience and relevant certifications.

What you'd do

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a closely related field.
A minimum of 1 year of collegiate teaching experience OR 5 years of training experience.
A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Occupational Safety and Health, demonstrating hands-on expertise in applying occupational safety and health principles in real-world, non-academic environments.
This experience should highlight effective risk management, compliance with safety regulations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in high-risk industries.
BCSP CSP or CIH Designation or the ability to receive such a designation upon 1 year of hire.
Ability to provide evidence of Service work that aligns with SOHAS Department Guidelines.
