As a member of the Aero New Units Commercial Operations team, you will support our Aeroderivative Gas Turbine New Unit Sales team by supporting your deals from the commercial and technical proposal development stages all the way through contract signature and handover to our execution organization.
What you'd do
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the commercial teams for the Aeroderivative New Unit gas turbine proposals development process.
Strong planning skills, influencing skills, and ability to induce cross functional teamwork are essential.
Support the creation and maintenance of commercial dashboards, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to track customer opportunities, project status, and revenue targets (using SFCS (Sales Force.com)
Collaborate with cross functional teams (e.g. engineering, sales, product champions, finance, supply chain, project management) to streamline bid/tender process, quoting procedures, and contract reviews.
Participate in commercial and sales meetings (Risk Reviews) and take notes or follow-up actions when needed.
Help identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in commercial processes; support initiatives to improve throughput and accuracy using Lean tools and principles (e.g., value stream mapping, 5S, root cause analysis and Kaizen events).
Participate in and support the implementation of Lean commercial process improvements, including standard work development, process mapping, continuous improvement reviews, eliminate rework in the OTR chain by analyzing risk mitigation and opportunities recovery.
