We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe.
What you'd do
- 3+ years of relevant FP&A experience, ideally in Corporate Finance, G&A support, or a broader FP&A role.
- An “act like an owner” mindset: you take initiative, follow through on commitments, and ask for guidance when needed. You’re eager to learn and take on more responsibility.
- A solid foundation in core FP&A activities, including month-end close, reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting, with exposure to annual planning and a working knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong analytical skills and experience building or maintaining financial models. You care about accuracy and enjoy understanding the business drivers behind the numbers.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach, with the ability to explain findings, ask thoughtful questions, and build relationships with business partners.
- Curiosity about AI, automation, and process improvements, with an interest in developing systems skills. Familiarity with Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar FP&A tools is a plus.
- You enjoy a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you can learn quickly and gain experience across multiple areas.
- You’re energized by stretching beyond your day-to-day responsibilities, being scrappy, and taking on new challenges that help you learn and grow.
- You like improving how work gets done, whether that means simplifying a process, automating a recurring task, or making an analysis more useful.
- You enjoy digging into the numbers, understanding business drivers, and turning your findings into clear insights that help inform decisions.
