Program Description:
Our program provides students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at a unique institution.
What you'd do
- The People & Engagement (P&E) program offers summer interns a unique opportunity to participate in specialized projects and receive on-the-job training and experience across one or more P&E functions, including Learning and Development, HR Operations/HR Technology, Employee Relations, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Acquisition, Compensation/Benefits, Internal Communications, and People Experience.
- Contribute to innovative initiatives by performing in-depth research and meticulously organizing information, driving forward our organization's strategic goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist People & Engagement with the implementation of people programs, procedures, plans and guidelines
- Current first-year Graduate student demonstrating a profound interest in Human Resources, coupled with a robust academic record and a passion for public service, seeking to leverage their educational background and enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully to our team.
- Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A sense of urgency and an ability to execute quickly and efficiently
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Acrobat
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
