The Ransom Center is an internationally renowned humanities research library and museum at The University of Texas at Austin. Its extensive collections provide unique insight into the creative process of writers and artists, deepening our understanding and appreciation of literature, photography, film, art, and the performing arts.
What you'd do
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites and digital content by creating accessible, user-friendly pages; organizing information; migrating content from legacy locations; and ensuring consistency with organizational branding, navigation, and accessibility standards.
- Assist with business process improvement projects by documenting workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline administrative processes, and developing digital solutions using Microsoft Forms, Microsoft Lists, and Power Automate to improve efficiency and collaboration.
- Provide user support and develop training resources by assisting staff with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 tools, creating quick-reference guides and instructional materials, testing new features, gathering user feedback, and helping troubleshoot common usability issues.
- Current undergraduate or graduate student.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning new technology and software applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically SharePoint and Power Automate.
- Interest in user experience, information organization, communications, technology, or project management.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments.
