Asset Based Lending Analyst I

What you'd do

• Successfully Complete training program and develop understanding of pitching, structuring, monitoring and executing ABL transactions to targeted Fifth Third clients.
• Support day-to-day coverage, origination, and transaction management responsibilities for existing and prospective clients including covered Sponsors.
• Prioritize and support a pipeline of ABL financing opportunities.
• Support underwriting approval and loan closing processes including loan systems setup and administration and preparation of presentation materials for credit approval.
• Support monitoring and management of existing deals.
• Effectively manage time while supporting multiple opportunities, partnerships and routines with key internal deal team members.
• Apply knowledge of credit analysis, asset-based lending and capital markets activity.
• Successfully complete all required compliance training.

• Graduating Class of 2027
• GPA 3.3 or higher
• Experience or demonstrated interest in Corporate & Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, and/or Capital Markets a plus.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
• Ability to multi-task, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a time sensitive environment.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good team interaction capabilities.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit.
