The Role:
Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Technical Training Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be full-time, 6 months in duration.
In this role, you will support the APS Technical Training team in the development, administration, and continuous improvement of employee training programs for the Minnesota sites.
What you'd do
- Support the creation, revision, and organization of technical training materials, work instructions, and learning resources.
- Assist with administration of training records and learning management system (LMS) activities, including enrollment tracking and reporting.
- Analyze training data and metrics to identify completion trends, compliance gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Partner with trainers, subject matter experts, and operational teams to support onboarding, qualification, and workforce development initiatives.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on training effectiveness, knowledge management, and employee development.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, Interdisciplinary Studies, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across functions.
