Internship Program Overview:
Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation.
What you'd do
- June 8 – June 19: Albany NanoTech Complex Training
- June 22 – August 10: Internship at GlobalFoundriesFall
- September 14 – September 25: Albany NanoTech Complex Training
- September 28 – November 13: Internship at GlobalFoundries*Note: Your internship may differ from the above dates, however, it is always after the 2-week training at ANC.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities on state-of-the-art 300mm semiconductor equipment
- React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment
- Review Statistical Process Control charts for process quality and react to Out of Control conditions including defect troubleshooting
- Perform visual inspections (quality check)
- Recover from process and tool interruptions
- Complete all required reporting and documentation
