Summer 2027 Intern- R&D Beauty and Personal Care

What you'd do

• Develop Personal Care formulations in Skin Care, Color cosmetics, Suncare & Haircare to understand performance differences with different raw materials and compare against the benchmark raw materials.
• Claim studies of the formulations with different raw materials for Sensory panel evaluation, Soft-focus studies, long-wear evaluation, SPF analysis, microscopy, rheology etc.
• Summarize lab data and draw conclusions by data analysis.
• Follow lab safety protocols and maintain lab notebook.

What they want

• Hands on experience working in the lab
• Courses or prior internship experience in cosmetics formulations development & application testing in Skin, Hair & color cosmetics are preferred
• Ability to draw conclusions from complex experiments
• The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
• The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.
