What you'd do
- Assist in preparing architectural plans, sections, elevations, details, and other drafting tasks under the direction of a Project Architect.
- Prepare shop drawings for plant fabrication using Revit.
- Develop construction details for both shop installation and site-built conditions.
- Research and identify products such as finishes and fixtures.
- Research building codes and other standards for compliance.
- Join team members for occasional on-site project observations in Arizona and Texas.
- Provide solutions to daily design, sequencing, or integration challenges within the plant or on-site.
- Promote safe and healthy work practices in compliance with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What they want
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Knowledge and experience with Revit.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Available to travel for the Internship Summit, hosted at a Zekelman Industries location.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
