Are you ready to explore the world of aerospace and defense? Do you want to learn from and collaborate with some of the greatest minds in the industry? At RTX, our internships, co-ops and full-time careers provide an exceptional foundation to work on complex problems, advance your skills and create a safer, more connected world.
What you'd do
- You will learn about our growing engineering team in Puerto Rico; What we do? Who we support? How we work?
- You will learn the technologies of today and tomorrow which we count on to maintain world leadership in the aerospace industry.
- You will learn why people enjoy and feel fulfilled by working in our industry.
- Perform circuit design lifecycle activities, including requirements capture, schematic capture, design documentation, circuit design analysis like Performance, Stability, ESD/Lightning, Decoupling and Signal/Power Integrity analysis, creation of board stack-up and routing instructions, coordination and review of printed wiring board layout, creation of test plans, root cause analysis, and integration.
- Design, develop, and integrate Collins products within the communication systems and test solutions in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, circuit designs, and analysis.
- Contribute to the completion of all stages of communication system and test system development. Asist managing technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to develop proven hardware de‐signs that meet system performance and operational specifications.
- English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English
What they want
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in electrical engineering.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract
