2027 Summer Intern- Process Industries

What you'd do

• Research project geared towards advancing Momentive’s knowledge and understanding of high-performance antifoams
• Must be able to perform the following functions after training. - Independently perform lab-based experimentation.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols in lab operation.
• Document, analyze, and report finding in a report format.
• Maintain lab according to good housekeeping principles.
• Summarize and present the project by the end of the program.

What they want

• Must be pursuing an MS or PhD in the field of chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or surfactant chemistry. A strong background in colloidal science is preferred, e.g., emulsion, foam, dispersion, etc.
• The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
• The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August
