Rocket Lab is the end-to-end space company building rockets, spacecraft, and critical subsystems that keep the world connected, protected, expand humanity’s reach to the Moon, Mars, and beyond. We move fast, build real hardware for meaningful missions, and make the impossible routine. Come shape the future with us.

SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

The Rocket Lab communications team translates literal rocket science into impactful and compelling stories that captivate the globe. We are looking for a Social Media & Digital Communications Specialist who lives and breathes digital storytelling, thrives in high-stakes environments, and wants to run one of the most exciting feeds in space. This is not a cruise-control 9-to-5. Rockets launch at 3:00 AM, mission milestones happen in real-time across multiple time zones, and the unexpected is around every corner.

What you get

Expand the Frontier: Challenge the status quo of how aerospace communicates. Bring fresh tech, unconventional distribution strategies, and bold creative experiments that keep us leagues ahead of the industry.
Roll Your Sleeves Up: This isn’t a pure strategy role insulated from the execution.
You are on the tools every single day, drafting, shooting, editing, and driving projects from concept to feed.
You can expect to live tweet countdowns, get out onto the factory floor to get the story, write the post, and hit publish yourself.
