Base is America’s next-generation power company. We’re rebuilding the foundation of modern civilization–electricity–by deploying a vast network of distributed batteries that is transforming today’s fragile, centralized grid into a resilient and abundant system. We are engineers, operators, and creatives solving some of the most complex, interdisciplinary challenges of our time.
The Warehouse Launch Associate owns both physical site setup and operational training for new satellite warehouse launches. You'll build racking, floor layout, and basic hardware, while training, onboarding, and certifying the warehouse and last-mile teams that will run the site. You make sure every new site is ready — physically and operationally — for day one.
Note: As launch volume grows, this role splits into dedicated Launch Technician and Training Coordinator tracks.
What you'd do
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations, facilities setup, logistics, or operational training.
- Hands-on comfort with physical labor (racking, floor taping, moving equipment, extended standing/walking).
- Strong presentation and coaching skills; comfortable leading small-to-medium group training sessions.
- Baseline technical literacy — comfortable configuring basic hardware and navigating WMS/LMS software (training provided).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across checklists and training records.
- Willing and able to travel frequently to launching sites.
- First Principles Thinking: Question assumptions. Principles > rules.
- Operate at Base Pace: Focus on what matters, act quickly, and learn by doing.
- Give & Get Feedback: Be direct, be humble, and maintain a growth mindset.
- Everyone’s an Owner: Follow through on commitments and own results.
