Xcel Energy is seeking candidates to support our Gas Utility, specifically, within one of our Engineering departments.
What you'd do
- Project activities and responsibilities could include assisting with project management, pipeline engineering, data cleanup, federal code verification, documentation preparation, and other activities as required.
- Work with the Engineering staff to support the Transmission Control Center.
- Work as an entry level engineering analyst doing tasks that support the tools, programs, and database
- s used to perform various operational tasks such as outage coordination, power flow studies, power system monitoring, and assist with operator training.
What they want
- Current student, Junior or higher
- Enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Engineering, Gas Project Management
- Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)/ part time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) and commuting to the designated work location in-person, per our hybrid work policy.
