What you'd do
- Gain valued electrical engineering skills through hands-on lab work testing, troubleshooting, and integrating analog, and/or digital electronics
- Working with industry standard electrical engineering CAE (computer-aided engineering) tools
- Utilizing electrical engineering lab equipment on daily basis
- Working with schematic capture, HDL code development, synthesis, and simulation
- Creating reports and out briefs using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- You will learn and utilize applicable internal processes and tools for the development of system level hardware. In addition, the successful candidate will learn frequent use and application of technical standards, concepts and techniques.
- Candidate is expected to provide recommendations for a variety of technical problems of appropriate scope and complexity, working under general supervision.
- Effective candidate should expect to be immersed in an exciting, team-based, and challenging technical environment where one with ability and initiative can thrive.
What they want
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of Summer 2027
- Experience reading drawings and electrical schematics
- Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits
- Experience documenting test results and repair recommendations
- Experience working in a lab environment with standard Electrical Engineering lab equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital multi meters (DMMs), signal sources)
