We’re looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable working with computers and understands how desktop and laptop hardware works. This is a hands-on, onsite role where you’ll be working with PCs, laptops and related equipment, including setting up devices, installing hardware and troubleshooting basic issues.

You don’t need years of corporate IT experience to be successful in this position. We’re open to candidates who have developed their experience in a computer repair shop, technical support environment, IT department or another professional setting. What’s important is that you’ve worked with computers beyond simply helping friends and family and can confidently work your way around a machine.

The role is based approximately 45 minutes from Fort Wayne, Indiana and requires you to be onsite five days per week.

What they want

Hands-on experience working with desktop and/or laptop computers in a professional or commercial environment.
Good understanding of how a computer works, including its core hardware components.
Comfortable installing, configuring and setting up desktops and laptops.
Experience installing or replacing computer hardware and components.
Able to perform basic troubleshooting and identify common hardware or setup issues.
Experience from a computer repair shop, IT support environment, help desk, corporate IT team or similar setting is welcome.
Corporate IT experience is not required.
Comfortable learning new systems, equipment and processes.
Able to work onsite five days per week at the company’s location, approximately 45 minutes from Fort Wayne, IN.
