Position Overview
If you are looking for an internship that reflects the day-to-day responsibilities of a full-time associate and have an interest in supporting Crisis Management, Organizational Resilience, Investigation, and Incident Response programs across all Burlington assets (Stores, Distribution Centers, and Corporate Offices), we invite you to apply to our internship program as a Burlington Response & Investigation Center (BRIC) Intern! Come experience Burlington’s premier Global Security Operations Center and build a foundation in the rapidly growing GSOC space while gaining valuable insights into the operations of a Fortune 500 retailer.

What you'd do
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Administration, International Relations, or similarly related field—flexible, as this role covers a wide array of functions).
- Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Knowledge of the ICS system and NIMS is desired but not required.
- Affinity for safety and security, analyzing incident information, responding under pressure, and building a career in Response & Investigations.
- Data-driven problem-solver who can build and maintain productive partnerships by living our core values.
- Ability to think critically with high attention to detail and listening
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and a proficiency in developing clear and concise communication products.
- A self-starter who takes initiative with a sense of curiosity, adaptability, and courage to always be a student of the business.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
