What you'd do
- Assist with execution of the current department strategic plan and be a part of developing future strategic initiatives for implementation in 2027 and beyond
- Learn about the unique aspects of the Federal Reserve Bank’s financial statements
- Assist with the preparation of journal entries, management of the general ledger, and account reconciliations
- Assist with annual asset confirmation survey and salvage value review
- Learn the fundamentals of budget preparation, maintenance, and customer service
- Assist with preparing and distributing customer reports along with developing new job aids and training materials to support ongoing customer engagement strategies
- Learn about Agile methodologies and how they can be useful in product and tool development to meet stakeholders needs efficiently
- Assist in the development of new data analytics tools and visualizations which will be used for executive-level reporting
- Assist with the identification, monitoring, and resolution of key process risk and controls
- Work with the sourcing team on procure-to-pay activities
What they want
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Should have at least one semester left to complete in school.
- Strong computer/technical skills required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Access (or familiarity with other data access tools).
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work both in a group setting and on an individual basis.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
