The Life Solutions Internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning from experienced professionals within USAA's Life organization. Through meaningful work assignments, coaching, and mentorship, you'll develop the skills and knowledge needed to help members protect their financial future through life insurance solutions.
As a Life Solutions Specialist Intern, you'll support efforts to deliver exceptional member service by understanding member needs, educating members on life insurance options, and assisting with solutions that align with their financial goals.
What you'd do
- Expected graduation date between August 2027 and June 2028.
- Demonstrated interest in financial services, insurance, financial planning, or member-facing sales roles.
- Coursework in financial planning, personal finance, insurance, investments, economics, or related disciplines.
- Previous customer service, sales, call center, financial services, or leadership experience.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
- Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools.
