The Procurement Intern will support the Procurement team across sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, and operational activities.
What you'd do
- Support procurement and sourcing projects, including market research, supplier identification, competitive analysis, and RFP/RFQ activities.
- Assist with collecting and analyzing spend, supplier, pricing, and contract data to identify trends and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Support supplier negotiations by preparing pricing comparisons, benchmarks, historical spend information, and other relevant analysis.
- Maintain procurement trackers, supplier information, contract records, and reporting dashboards.
- Assist with supplier onboarding, purchase requests, renewals, and other procurement processes.
- Work with Procurement team members to identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, cost optimization, and process improvement.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Legal, IT, and business teams to support procurement initiatives.
- Help prepare presentations, reports, and summaries for procurement projects and leadership reviews.
- Conduct ad hoc research and analysis to support category strategies and business decisions.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
