The Role:
Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking an EHS Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
The EHS Co-op will assist the Environmental Health and Safety team in ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations at one of our manufacturing plants in Massachusetts.
What you'd do
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
- Assist in identifying potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Support the development of corrective action plans and track the implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, including hazardous waste management, air emissions, and wastewater.
- Support environmental sustainability initiatives and programs.
- Assist in the preparation of required regulatory reports, including OSHA logs, environmental reports, and safety audits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in various EHS projects, including risk assessments, ergonomics studies, and emergency response planning.
- Provide general administrative support to the EHS team as needed.
- Ability to travel to our Franklin, MA site once per month to assist with on‑site projects and support cross-functional initiatives.
