The Slotting Coordinator is responsible for organizing and optimizing warehouse slotting locations to improve efficiency, productivity, and inventory accuracy. This role works closely with warehouse operations, inventory control, and leadership teams to ensure products are stored in the most effective locations based on volume, movement, and operational needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional night warehouse responsibilities as business needs require.
What you'd do
- Maintain and update product slotting assignments within the warehouse.
- Analyze inventory movement and recommend slotting changes to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate product relocations and warehouse re-slotting projects.
- Monitor inventory trends and work with operations teams to optimize picking paths.
- Conduct warehouse audits to ensure slotting accuracy and compliance.
- Review space utilization and identify opportunities to improve storage capacity.
- Support inventory control processes and investigate location discrepancies.
- Communicate slotting updates and changes to warehouse personnel.
- Assist with special projects, warehouse reorganizations, and seasonal volume adjustments.
- Provide support during occasional night warehouse activities, including inventory moves, layout changes, and operational transitions.
