POSITION SPECIFICS

The Office of Physical Plant’s (OPP) Facilities Applications team is seeking a Facilities Systems Analyst – Professional to support OPP’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This position ensures the reliable performance and effective use of IBM Maximo and associated applications that support OPP operations.

The successful candidate will report to the Facilities Applications – Maximo Supervisor. This is a full-time position and may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The Facilities Applications team supports flexible work arrangements when aligned with the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position.

What you'd do

Ensure the reliable performance of facilities systems/applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve related system and user issues.
Participate in projects to gather user requirements, design, configure, test, and implement financial systems and applications.
Monitor system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability.
Recommend new features or optimizations based on user feedback.
Work closely with internal and external customers to assist with and diagnose day-to-day software issues.
Administer and facilitate user access to systems.
Provide application support and act as the initial point of contact for the Enterprise Asset Management system and supporting systems.
Escalate tickets that cannot be resolved.
Handle user access and person, group, and labor record maintenance.
