What you'd do
- The candidate will work as part of the Genetic and Molecular Toxicology group in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)-compliant facility.
- Learn and support toxicity testing for plant production products (PPPs) under the supervision of a Principal Investigator.
- The activities/duties will include hands on experience in the fields of in vitro and molecular toxicology; following and reviewing technical documents
- Develop and evaluate automated machine learning approaches for analysis of high-content imaging datasets generated on the Cellomics CX7 platform.
- Build automated image-processing workflows for identification, classification, and quantification of cellular endpoints.
- Compare machine outputs with traditional manual analyses to assess performance, reproducibility, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with assay scientists to identify opportunities for workflow improvement.
- Document methods, results, and recommendations, and present findings to project teams at the conclusion of the internship.
