A Day in the Life
Our summer internships are full-time (40 hours/week), paid positions lasting 10-11 weeks.
What you'd do
- Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements operating system components, software tools, and utilities.
- Determines systems software design requirements.
- Supports development and execution of the organization’s cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture.
- Works with stakeholders to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions.
- Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software systems quality operating methods, processes, and procedures.
- Evaluates software systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification, and validation.
- Introduces and maintains processes, tools, and methodologies that support the software development life cycle.
- Conducts requirements gathering and analysis to understand the software domain, hardware and software interfaces, and overall software characteristics.
- Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, cloud-based tools, and Internet-related tools.
