POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Summer Hospitality Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Big Cedar Lodge’s guest-facing departments, helping create memorable experiences for our guests while learning the hospitality industry from experienced professionals. Internship placements may include Marinas, Activities, Recreation, Cedar Creek Spa, Fun Mountain, Safety & Security, Finance & Accounting, or Marketing.
This is a paid internship opportunity that offers valuable professional development, leadership exposure, and real-world industry experience.
What you'd do
- Participate in Weekly hospitality training courses that may review various hospitality management skills including but not limited to finance, marketing, customer service, procurement, etc
- Actively work in assigned business area in a safe manner.
- Participate in group project with assigned mentor that may be implemented through the property. Topics may vary from year to year.
- All other duties as assigned
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be entering junior or senior year of college, with a minimum of 60 credits completed
- Preferred Degree of study: Hospitality Management, Sports & Recreation, Business Management, Marketing
- Certificate(s) or License(s): None
