The Role:
Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Microanalysis Scientist Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
In this role, you will join Entegris’ Micro-analysis team, which is developing a method to evaluate the particle size distribution or pore size distribution based on SEM or 3D confocal images and advanced software. You will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge analytical instruments and contribute to method development and routine analytical services.

What you'd do
- Perform and present analytical test results to Senior Scientists and Engineers.
- Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)
- Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS)
- Confocal 3D Fluorescence Microscope
- Microscope FTIR
- Develop and iterate upon test methodologies.
- Discuss test results and suggest future project directions.
- Support routine analytical services by analyzing samples from other teams.
- Open-minded, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and analytical techniques.
