Job Summary
Perform engineering work requires application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
What you'd do
- Assist with validation activities such as IQ/OQ/PQ testing for new mold tools or equipment
- Measure parts, perform functional testing, perform data analysis, and write qualification report
- 5S Production Floor
- Tape out area using 5S principles for proper flow and safety in production.
- Set up new conveyor systems for use in production.
- Determine ways to reduce conversion costs
- Organize WIP and Finished Goods areas
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Identify and propose solutions for process improvements in assembly or quality lab operations to increase quality and/or throughput.
- Aid in root cause analysis of CAPAs utilizing tools like pareto charts and fishbone diagrams
What they want
- Proficient in 3D CAD Design software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning software (SAP and IQMS preferred)
- Willing to be hands on in the manufacturing facility
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Self-Motivated and the ability to multitask
