What you'd do
- Help plan and conduct user research and usability studies with representative users, patients, clinicians, or other intended users.
- Prepare usability study materials, including protocols, surveys, data collection forms, and reports.
- Analyze study data, identify usability issues, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to user interface requirements, usability risk analyses, and design recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering, clinical research, regulatory, marketing, and other teams to support product development.
What they want
- Currently enrolled or have experience in biomedical engineering, psychology, human factors, or a related discipline.
- Coursework or project experience in human factors, psychology, biomedical engineering, or a related field required
- Experience collecting and analyzing data and communicating findings clearly required
- Experience collaborating on team projects and completing work independently required
- Experience planning or conducting user research or usability studies preferred
- Experience developing usability study protocols, surveys, or reports preferred
- Familiarity with medical devices, user interface design, or usability risk analysis preferred
