The Role:
Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Research and Development Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
In this role, the co-op will assist the R&D team in documenting both historical data and new data we are collecting. They will have an opportunity to learn basic experimental design and documentation of results for development of new purification medias.

What you'd do
- Conduct thorough tests to evaluate the effectiveness of the process and ensure the validity of results
- Review test information to summarize media quality
- Performance using pre-existing qualification dataReview and update all current documents to meet the new standard templates
- Document the final test procedure for seamless transfer to the QA laboratories
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and analyze test results.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to clearly summarize and present technical findings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
