What you'd do
- Support engineers on a variety of electric infrastructure projects designing future state distribution and transmission power system
- Develop unique solutions to gather, store, and utilize electrical asset data implemented and collected in the field to improve data driven decision making.
- Create and maintain electrical models using power flow software such as PSSE and CYME.
- Create scope of work documents, cost estimates, and schedules for assigned projects engaging engineering and other SMEs as required.
- Work with AES engineering and finance teams to build the project business cases using financial modeling tools.
- Validate project financial data submitted to the annual budget review process.
- Manage the budget for assigned T&D annual investment programs.
- Utilize Management of Change and Asset Governance processes for controlling the modification of equipment, systems, and processes
- Participate in root cause analyses (RCAs) for significant T&D equipment failures
- Support development and updates to Asset Life Cycle Plans (ALCP) for critical asset classes
- Work in an Agile, collaborative environment partnering with technicians, engineers, regulatory experts and businesspeople of all backgrounds and disciplines to solve complex problems
