2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Corporate Finance & Risk – Investment Risk Management
Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work at Guardian.
Interns may have the opportunity to be considered for Guardian's Finance Leadership Development Program upon successful completion of the internship.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights
- Coursework or demonstrated interest in finance, investments, economics, accounting, statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative disciplinePreferred Qualifications
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Python, data analytics, or Gen AI tools
- Analyze investment portfolio exposures and risk metrics across fixed income, private credit, structured products, commercial real estate, and alternative investments
- Support portfolio monitoring, risk reporting, stress testing, and scenario analysis used by senior management and risk committees
- Conduct research on financial markets, emerging risks, regulatory developments, and industry trends affecting insurance company investment portfolios
- Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
